A light bulb with no lamp to screw into. Over a hundred tiny LEDs are arranged to imitate the loop of an old incandescent filament, inside borosilicate glass with a machined aluminium cap — and the whole thing is deliberately made a fraction too large to fit a mains fitting.
An hour and a half on the micro-USB cable gives about six hours of light. It stands on a table, hangs from a hook, or goes in a lantern for a dinner outside. Ninety-nine grams, so it travels well.
