Topical, sensory, nothing to swallow
Self-Care Gift Boxes
A self-care gift box, here, means the bath, the skin and the hour before sleep. Two lines run through the page: the Spa Edit, which tells you exactly what it holds, and the mystery Curated Collections, which do not.
Free delivery on orders over £25, and £3.95 below that.
What self-care means here
Topical and sensory. Nothing you swallow.
The phrase has been stretched to cover supplements, teas and tinctures. We keep it to what goes on skin or into water: bath salt, body oil, soap, a candle, a cotton pillow of wheat and lavender warmed for the back of a neck.
Nothing in a Petalby box is ingestible, and nothing on this page makes a health claim. We describe how things smell and feel, and we stop there. The fence is deliberate, and it is the reason the copy stays quiet.
The Spa Edit, which tells you what it holds
Five fixed compositions with their contents declared, from a letterbox piece to the fullest crate. The Mini Pocket Pamper is letterbox-sized by design — a hand cream, a lip balm and one considered extra. The Signature Spa Retreat is a candle, a bath soak, a body oil and a soft accessory in a rigid box built to be kept.
Everything inside comes from UK wholesale and makers already selling on the GB market. Choose these when the gift needs describing before it arrives — a corporate order, or a present you want to talk about in advance.
The mystery Curated Collections
Three sizes, unrevealed until the box is opened, drawn from naturally derived skincare and cosmetics, restorative bath and body pieces, and the occasional considered object. Contents are worth around 40% more than the price, checked per composition before packing.
The Bud holds one piece. The Bloom holds three composed to sit together. The Bouquet is the fullest, with one addition reserved for that size alone. The format, and the sort of person it suits, is set out on mystery gift boxes.
Composing your own
A box you assemble yourself is often the better gift, because you can build it round one known habit. Someone who takes long baths wants the salt and the oil. Someone who cannot sleep wants the eye pillow and the candle. Someone with dry hands in February wants neither.
Six pieces that combine well, all from Petalby Spa, and all of them under £25 on their own — see gifts under £25 for the rest of that shelf.
Buying one for someone else
The moment worth designing for is the one where the lid comes off. A set reads as chosen when the pieces belong to the same evening — a soak, an oil and a candle — rather than when there are simply more of them.
If there is an allergy or an ingredient to avoid, say so in the checkout notes and we will compose around it. That is the one instruction a mystery collection can take without spoiling itself.
What we do not claim
None of this is medicine, and none of it is sold as a remedy. Sealed cosmetics cannot be returned once they have been opened, which is a hygiene rule rather than one of ours. You have 14 days to change your mind on anything complete and unused, and the full terms are on delivery and returns.
We have no reviews and no ratings that are real, so the page carries none. Silence is the honest option.
Where else to look
Gifts for her sorts the same stock by habit, and birthday gifts by how well you know the person.
Gifts under £50 covers the band above the entry sets, and everything sits on the shop page.
