Our Promise

Every jar that leaves our hands carries a promise, and we intend to keep it.

We promise uncompromised purity — ingredients you could, if you wished, pronounce, recognise, and trace back to a garden rather than a laboratory. We promise no synthetic fillers standing in for proper formulation, no shortcuts dressed up as innovation, no ingredient added because it's cheap rather than because it belongs.

We promise handmade care in every jar. Not "handmade" as a word on a label, but the literal truth of it — a person, whipping a cream in a copper bowl, measuring a fragrance drop by careful drop, because that is still, after everything, the best way anyone has found to make something worth putting on your skin.

We promise patience where the industry promises speed. A cream cured for the right number of days rather than the convenient number. A fragrance left to settle until it's actually finished, not just ready to ship.

And we promise to honour the earth that makes any of this possible — the hedgerow that gave its lavender, the smallholding that gave its rose, the season that decided, in its own time, when things were ready. We take only what's given generously, we waste as little as we can manage, and we return what we can to the ground it came from.

This is not a promise we make once and forget. It's the standard every jar is measured against before it ever reaches you — and if we ever fall short of it, we'd rather you tell us than let it slide.
