A slipcast clay sphere, 90 millimetres across, hung on stainless wire. Fat balls, fruit or kitchen scraps go inside, and the opening is sized so tits, sparrows, nuthatches and finches can get at them while the pigeons and the squirrels give up.
The form is smooth throughout, with nothing for feet or beaks to catch on, and it washes out under a tap. Comes with the wire and a tree protector. Designed and made in England, in a shape that looks less like garden centre and more like something you chose for the kitchen shelf.
