An enclosed cave in felted wool, black and white, with a long tail trailing off the back of it that no cat has ever been able to leave alone. Forty-one centimetres across the base, forty tall, with an opening of nineteen by sixteen — enough for a cat, a kitten, or a very small dog with ambitions.
Felted wool holds its shape without a frame, so the cave stands up on its own and stays warm without anything plugged in. Handmade in Nepal. It is a hiding place, which is the thing most cat beds forget to be, and it looks like an object rather than an accessory.
