A pillow bed in French blue ticking stripe, eighty centimetres by sixty and twenty deep — flat enough to live in a lounge without looking like pet equipment, deep enough for the full dramatic sigh. The inner pad is upholstery grade and pocketed, so the filling stays where it was put instead of drifting to one end by March.
Oxford-style edging, a YKK zip, and an outer cover that comes off and goes in the machine at thirty degrees, which matters, because someone is going to bring half the garden in on their fur. Made in England. Sizes are nominal and vary a little, as handmade things do.
