Felt shapes cut, layered and stitched down, then embroidered over the top — appliqué rather than pure needlework, which is why it comes together faster than it looks. Five pieces of wool-mix felt in marl jade, biscuit, sand, marl terracotta and mustard, and twelve coordinated DMC colours to work between them.
A nineteen-centimetre wooden hoop, finishing at around twenty centimetres, with full-scale templates, a stitch guide and clear instructions in the box. Rated intermediate: it assumes you have held a needle before. Made in Britain by a small Yorkshire studio.
